Pediatric Resource Center | Peoria, Illinois Channing Petrak, MD, is a Board Certified Child Abuse Pediatrician and Medical Director of the Pediatric Resource Center, which serves as the child abuse team for the Children’s Hospital of Illinois. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. Dr. Petrak is on the National Children’s Alliance Board of Directors, serves on the Illinois Child Death Review Team – Peoria Region, Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Services Implementation Task Force and Children’s Justice Task Force Illinois. She actively works to educate both medical and non-medical groups on topics related to child abuse and neglect.
