Watch Now How the U.S. Center for SafeSport is Fighting to End Abuse in Sport Dan Mills 90 minutes

Brief Overview: This presentation will provide attendees with an overview of the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s mission and function; how to identify athlete abuse and misconduct; and provide our data-driven prevention strategies to highlight how the Center is committed to provide training and best practice policies to all those involved in sport.

Expert Presenter: Dan Mills As the Training & Technical Assistance Manager of the U.S. Center for SafeSport, Dan is responsible for managing all the Center’s abuse prevention training programs. He travels the country speaking to sport communities, no matter the sport, ability or age of the athlete, to create culture change in the world of sport. He serves as a Center representative on the SafeSport Athlete Advisory Team, which ensures the athlete voice is included when it comes to prevention education, policy, Center outreach, and communications. Prior to this, Dan spent nine years at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children fighting against all forms of child exploitation. His cherished achievement is the successful recovery of several missing children.
