Leigha Shoup

Child Advocacy Center of West Central Ohio | Lima, Ohio

Leigha is the Director of the Child Advocacy Center of West Central Ohio and the Special Victims Unit with Crime Victim Services in Allen County. Leigha holds a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale as well as a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences. She is a Registered Advocate in the State of Ohio. She is the secretary of the Northwest Ohio Rescue & Restore Coalition and the Co-Chair for the Hancock County Chapter of the Northwest Ohio Rescue & Restore Coalition. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Vice President for the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. Leigha of provides training locally and nationally to multi-disciplinary teams, service providers, and community members regarding diversity and inclusion through the CAC model. She actively works with child survivors and adult survivors living with developmental disabilities.

Leigha’s passion is to help bring awareness and services to all children, adults, and communities to help provide an inclusive, equitable, and holistic healing approach to advocacy.
